The Death Certificate in the SPRI Archive says that he died of a contusion of the chest and septicaemia after 21 days, and was signed by Peder Hill at Leith. A magistrate’s note in the SPRI archives tell us that he died in Stromness Bay. Since all the Husvik and Leith graves are marked, he was probably buried at Stromness.
