The Husvik Grave Book tells us that ‘Mate Ludvig M Larsen disappeared from a quarter to six in the afternoon of 6 December 1925. When nothing more was seen of him it was assumed an accident has taken place. The body was found washed ashore at the slip of the flensing plan today [27 Jan 26] and was buried on 30 Jan 26’
Note that the headstone gives the date of death as 6 November and not December.
