There is an obituary for Einer in a newspaper cutting from a Larvik newspaper, dated 21/11/1932, in the archives of the Sandefjord Whaling Museum. He was a ‘klinker’ (rivet setter) from Nanset in Larvik, Norway, and died of pneumonia. He is described as ‘a clever man, a satisfactory worker, of good behaviour, and well liked by his comrades.’
