Anders’ great granddaughter Hanne Marie Deleng writes to tell us that the inscription is incorrect, and that he actually died on 6 March 1927.  This is confirmed by the Register of Deaths entry.<\/p>\n

He was born in Sandar, Vestfold, Norway in 1899 so was 27 when he died. His wife was already 8 months pregnant with a daughter who was born 7 April 1927.<\/p>\n

His death record can be seen online HERE (Opens new page)<\/a>. It tells us his birth date and that the funeral was on 8 March 1927, two days after he died<\/p>\n
