The Husvik Grave Book gives his date of birth as 2 July 1896.
Note that previous research has mistakenly identified Ludvig with the surname ‘Rolighed’ based on the wording on this headstone. This has unfortunately been promulgated onto, for instance, the memorial in the chapel in Sandefjord. ‘Rolighed’ is, in fact, Norwegian for ‘tranquility’!
