The Husvik Grave Book tells us that Lorents was a pipe fitter.
There is a newspaper clipping in the archives of the Sandefjord Whaling Museum, from the Vestfold Arbeiderblad of 19 October 1953. It describes Lorentz as a plumber. He was working on a platform over the cookery, lost his balance and fell onto the railway. He was immediately taken to the Doctor but after seven hours the Doctor gave up. Reitan had been working for the Tonsberg company for several years. He was unmarried and lived with his mother in Baglergate in Tonsberg.
