The magistrate's records at SPRI tell us that Seton was the helicopter flight captain on G-ANJS operating from Southern Harvester. He, and the 1st officer W C Loftus, were making a delivery to 'Southern Opel', when the helicopter went into the sea in position 07° 33' W 049° 13' W. Loftus was recovered by the catcher 'Kosmos 3' after three hours and transferred to 'Southern Harvester', but Seton's body was not found.
